First of all I have taken the plunge and bought the complete Nik Software collection in the Lightroom plug-in form. Considering the prices of each one separately the complete suite is very good value. I may not use every individual programme all the time, but the ability to do so is worthwhile. I am looking forward to using the HDR plug-in and my initial trails of the SilverEfex (B&W conversion) plug-in is most encouraging.
I have also bought (from that well-known auction site) a Voigtlander 50mm f2 Heliar Classic in silver chrome. Small but quite heavy. 2500 of these lenses were made for Voigtlander's 250 Anniversary, of which 800 were made in silver chrome. Now to try it out!
