This year's One Challenge weekend was in Palermo, Sicily. There was a good turn-out of faces "old" and new and some partners also came along for the social aspects.
It was a pity that the weather over the weekend was not of the best; a really heavy thunderstorm on the Friday evening, dull with some showers on the Saturday for the main Challenge on the afternoon, but it did clear up a bit for the Night Challenge on the Saturday night after dinner where we had 25 attendees.
Sunday was another dull, grey day and just to rub it in Monday dawned bright and sunny, although by then most had gone home and I had to leave at lunchtime.
There were a few Forum regulars who for one reason or another could not make it, but Palermo is not that difficult to get to or that expensive when there. It just requires a little more effort to get there.
Look out for the results of the Challenge on the Forum in November, and for some Palermo images on the website.
