The One Challenge 2011

29th September 2011
In two weeks time at this time (18:00 on a Friday) I should be settled in my hotel in Palermo, and starting to look around and assess the city in preparation for this year's One Challenge.
Organised by the Leica Camera Forum this competition takes place on the 3rd weekend of October each year. 2013 will be its 10th anniversary. The rules are quite simple: One camera; One lens; One roll of film or a maximum 36 digital exposures; originally one, but now two hours in which to shoot the images. After processing select One image and submit it for anonymous judging by the Forum membership. All proceeds (€10 entry fee) will go to charity.
It's also a social weekend: there's an informal get together on the Friday evening, an informal lunch on Saturday before we disperse to shoot and a dinner on Saturday night.
This year, like last year in Venice, there's also a Night Challenge after the dinner.
If you're interested the cities we've visited so far are London, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Krakow, Valetta (Malta), Venice, and now Palermo.

I'm now pondering what gear to take!
